For over 25 years the corner of 37th and Navajo has been the center of the alternative arts scene in Denver. It remains to this day a great vault of surprises in the city and beyond. Its influence on the Denver art scene has been significant and has played an important role in launching or advancing the careers of some of the state's top artists whose works are an important part of many collections around the world. The 37th and Navajo Arts District is made up of Pirate Contemporary Art, Edge Gallery, NEXT, The Bug Theater, and ZIP37.
